A blog is born

It's my first blog entry! Hey, if a bird can do it, why can't I?

I've titled my blog "inarticulate" because I still have trouble expressing my thoughts clearly--which is surprising for a person who is supposed to write for a living. Part of it is the dreaded writer's block, so maybe this blog will inspire me to write something, anything, more frequently.

Here's to the first of what I hope will be many blog entries!
